Conte: Our Victory is Hooded by Huddersfield
Despite successfully defeating the home side, Huddersfield Town 3-1 Wednesday early this morning, Antonio Conte admitted a little dissatisfied with the outcome of the game.
The disappointment, because the Blues had a lead through goals Tiemoue Bakayoko, Willian and Pedro Rodriguez in the final minutes it must be conceded through Laurent Depoitre header.
Where with the Belgian’s goal then makes the West London club failed to clean sheet and it indicates a fast-satisfied defense which is the opposing team can not score again despite being left behind three goals.
So Conte urged that in the next game his squad until the referee blew the long whistle should be really focused. Nevertheless but the 48-year-old coach is still happy London Blue can achieve victory considering The Terries when playing at home is difficult to beat.
“I think we should be very happy for the performance because from the beginning we showed great personalities and desires to win the game against a very good team,” Antonio Conte told the media.
“We have to continue in this way to try to play this football. My players enjoy this kind of soccer game to play the hebta combination between our strikers.
“I see a lot of positive things, but one negative thing is we have to concede a goal in the last minute and we have to fix this very soon because it is important to keep a clean sheet, for a goalkeeper and a team.
Interestingly in the game although Chelsea have other attackers like Michy Batshuayi but Conte prefer Eden Hazard as a striker to replace the role of Alvaro Morata who is in great fatigue after playing in three consecutive games.
However, the strategy applied by the tactics actually worked and it also indicates that Batshuayi will leave in the January transfer window after always being backed up by the coach.
